Modern Bell - Wedding Start-up

PROBLEM

Create a Brand Strategy and use the Agile methodology to bring a new product/service to market. Modern Bell is a browser-based application that functions as a communication platform for brides. The platform allows the Bride to organize, schedule and text en masse to groups and sub-groups through a smartphone or desktop dashboard. The technology relies on SMS short-code, which is carrier and phone-type agnostic. 

 

SOLUTION

Folding in User Research as part of the Brand Strategy, we dove deeply into the mindset of our identified audience. Field Studies helped form Personas with strong psychographic components.  The psychographic research lead to a more User-Centric approach to defining the Brand and Product.  Leveraging the deep emotional attachment between the Bride and the event helped humanize the brand's digital experience and all of its touch points.  By combining the POV of the Bride and the POV of the Product we were able to form an empathetic digital experience for the Brand. 

 

Leveraging a User Centered Design methodology and Design Thinking my team used techniques such as User Research through Field Studies, User Testing, Interaction Design and Design Studio or collaborative wire-framing.

 

Our deliverables included a comprehensive User Research Report containing Personas, User Journeys, User Task Flows, User Stories which led us to help define the Interaction Design and the Visual Design of the product.
